Christmas 2011 – Good Thoughts

This is my first blog post and I feel such as buzz writing good thoughts about Christmas. As we’ve all slowed down and come together with family and friends we can really show appreciation for each other.

Here are some good thoughts I’ve had about Christmas:

  • Meeting up with family – We spent 7 hours on Christmas Eve catching up initially.
  • Relaxing – I stayed in bed until 1pm and then went downstairs for breakfast.
  • FOOD! – No further explanation needed.

Today has been such a busy, hilarious and filling day. Spending quality time with my brothers, sister, parents and nephew always puts me in a good mood. There have been so many jokes, mainly from Dad, he always comes out with some classics (some good, others not so good). His best one today was him getting confused about the name “twitter” and a swear word that is almost spelt the same.

Presents are not a big thing with my family, since we’re all adults we don’t buy everyone gifts we just do Secret Santa for each other. This year was funny because we had a limit of £50 for a gift and we all just asked for the money so we ended up not gaining or losing anything, ha ha. 🙂

All in all it has felt like a perfect day with the family.
