Need Ideas For Christmas Gifts?

Buying friends and/or family gifts at Christmas can be a real challenge for a lot of people. Trying to be creative with presents can be very time consuming and costly, especially when it’s left until the last minute – however, it doesn’t have to be this way.

When growing up all I wanted was computer games and money but now with hindsight I would have really appreciated the “tablets of wisdom”. These days if I do ask for anything for Christmas it is usually a reading list of books to further my personal development.

Buying personal development gifts can be a great thing, ranging from inspirational books, DVDs, tickets to a seminar from a well known influential speaker or some coaching sessions with a respectable coach.

Christmas Gift Ideas

There’s a saying from Will Smith that says that one of the keys to life is READING. The reason for this is because there have been millions and billions of people that have lived before us, so in reality there are no new problems in the world. There is no problem that someone else hasn’t solved and written a book. Myself, I find a lot of my answers, motivation and inspiration from books (or audio books when travelling).

Simple Truths and Amazon Store are good places to get these gifts.

Coaching

I used to think this was something reserved for A list celebrities you see on TV but you can get really respectable life coaches all over the world to maximise a person’s potential. This is a great experience having had sessions myself from 2011-2012. A coaching session is not just a simple conversation about life; instead they are strategic sessions focussed on helping the client to make their goals and ambitions a reality.

These sessions can only be useful to someone who is prepared to take action on the steps that are identified.

Seminars

People can get inspirational ideas from a seminar on a topic that they are interested in. This year my sister and I have been to some seminars in London. One was an event where Donald Trump and Anthony Robbins were speaking, which really did make me see a lot of things in a different light.

Another great thing from going to seminars is not just the speakers but the other attendees. There’s something about like-minded people being together in one place, furthermore you can learn so much from one-another and make new friendships this way too.

More and more people are opening up to giving gifts to better someone else’s life since these gifts can have long term benefits and a longer lasting effect. However, these gifts are only useful when the recipient of them is willing to TAKE ACTION to implement the ideas and principles in their lives.
