Never EVER Give Up – An Inspirational Transformation

I stumbled upon this video yesterday and just watching it gave me goosebumps.

This story is about an American paratrooper, Arthur Boorman, who was injured in the Gulf War and was told by doctors he’d never walk again.

This belief from the doctors was instilled in Arthur for 15 years, which ended up in him gaining over 200 lbs. Then at age 47 he made a conscious choice to change and started DDP Yoga, which started his transformation.

See Arthur Boorman’s journey below:

The lessons I learned from this video are:

1) Everyone has their own beliefs in life but someone’s belief does not have to be your reality. We have the choice create what we want in our own lives.

2) To make a physical/external transformation you first need to make a mental/internal transformation first.

3) Although you are not where you want to be in this present moment, doesn’t mean you’ll never get there…so keep persisting and keep moving forward.

Have you had any adversities that you have persevered through? What lessons did you learn from them?
